Overview
The Ecommerce Analysis involves building and analyzing an ecommerce dataset for Munchy's. The process starts with combining CSV files into a single data source and cleaning the data by removing invalid transactions and renaming fields for consistency. Metrics such as Customer Lifetime Value and order/shipping metrics are created. A market basket analysis is performed using a self-join to identify products frequently bought together. The study also includes creating visualizations for shipping distance, sales by state, and a what-if analysis for shipping costs. The project culminates in building dashboards to display key performance indicators, profit margins, and recommendations for cross-sell promotions and shipping cost savings. Finally, the analysis is summarized in a data visualization story to present actionable business strategies.
