Overview
Introducing a Power BI dashboard focusing on direct marketing campaigns conducted by a Portuguese banking institution. These campaigns relied on phone calls, often necessitating multiple contacts with clients to determine their interest in subscribing to a bank term deposit. Employing a novel data modeling approach optimized the predictive power of five common classification algorithms. Over the period of 2008 to 2013, this Portuguese retail bank meticulously collected data on clients, products, and socio-economic attributes, including the impact of the financial crisis. From an original set of 150 features, 21 key features, including the label, were meticulously explored and retained. This approach involves preprocessing each type of feature separately, normalizing them to enhance prediction performance. The primary objective of the classification task is to predict whether a client will subscribe ('yes') or not ('no') to a term deposit. With this Power BI dashboard, a comprehensive analysis and visualization of this critical predictive modeling endeavor is presented.
